LJ Hooker expands to service developer community
Rising development activity throughout Adelaide has seen leading real estate network LJ Hooker unveil a specialist projects office.
LJ Hooker Projects Adelaide will be headed by inner-city specialist Justin Peters. Mr Peters has been the Principal of LJ Hooker Mile End since 2011 and an award-winning sales professional with the network for the past 12 years.
According to the latest figures from the Australian Bureau of Statistics, Adelaide recorded 11,813 new residential dwellings over 2016 – a 4.5% increase in development on the previous calendar year.
But it is the pipeline of activity rejuvenating character areas and planning changes which has Mr Peters confident the city is set for a purple patch of urban development.
“From the CBD’s river precinct through to fringe suburbs like Torrensville, Bowden and Prospect, developers are taking advantage of the rezonings which have lifted land values throughout the city,” said Mr Peters.
In the current Financial Year, the ABS recorded $396 million worth of attached residential approvals throughout Greater Adelaide up until the end of February. The city’s western suburbs were the leading zone for activity, accounting for almost $147 million worth of approval.
Mr Peters said LJ Hooker Projects Adelaide provides a full spectrum service offering for developers working across land divisions, townhouses, medium and high density projects.
“From co-ordinating feasibility studies and site amalgamations through to project sales, we’ve got a team providing on-the-ground service to developers from the CBD to greenfield corridors,” said Mr Peters.
“As a partner office to LJ Hooker Mile End, we’re offering developers exposure to an existing qualified database of buyers, as well as a team of in-house property managers.
“But as LJ Hooker’s Projects office in Adelaide, we also have the benefit of outreach to the brand’s South Australian offices and our partner development offices interstate.
“Whether developers have a project that is of interest for local owner-occupants or national and international investors seeking yields, we’re best placed to service their needs.”
